ABOUT THIS IMAGE
How I made
this image.
I collected this image over eight nights with my ZWO ASI1600MM-Cool. Skotiq handled the capture, calibration, and integration, including a 2× drizzle rebuild.
I finished it in PixInsight, using GraXpert for background correction and RC Astro tools for sharpening, noise reduction, and star separation. The final edit combines LRGB with continuum-subtracted Hα.
The 824 accepted frames total 27 hours and 19 minutes. The drizzle version keeps the same composition at 7600 × 5600 pixels.
